My Baby is not a baby anymore!

Joey is officially a two year old. On April 10Th my not so tiny guy officially reached toddlerhood. I was so sad yet so proud of my little man. So much has changed in the past two years. I've never been more happier and I've never met a more happier child.

For his official birthday which was on a Friday my mom, sister, Kara and I took Joey to the Spaghetti Factory. The day started off with Jeffrey the Giraffe calling to wish Joey a Happy Birthday (ToysRUs Kids Club recording)and a healthy meal of cookies for breakfast. Hey you only turn Two once! Once we got to the Spaghetti Factory he enjoyed some ravioli and ice cream. The staff sang Joey Happy Birthday and Joey proceeded to extinguish the candle with his finger. What a tough little man! After lunch we went over to Wrights Park to take some pictures of him. He was more interested in the fish there but I was able to get some pictures of him being oh so cute and adorable!
The rest of the day was filled with some shopping and a special trip to ToysRUs where Joey got a balloon. He was so attached to the balloon that for days after the first thing Joey would do in the morning was go get his balloon and stand there while holding it and drinking his juice. He even held it while trying on my cowboy boots which was so awfully cute!

Joey! Mommy and Daddy love you so very much and we are so proud of you. We can't believe how fast the time has gone but you truly are the best miracle to ever happen to us!

It's Britney!

At Christmas time Josh sent me on a treasure hunt which actually included pirate maps, fake gold, and chest which led me to the wonderful treasure of Britney Spears tickets! Whoo hoo! Naturally I thought of the biggest Britney fan I know and that just so happened to be my mother in law so she got the second ticket.

The concert was so much fun! We were about 20 feet away from the stage and was standing only room where we were. We had a great view and definetely had to hold our own when it came to people shoving and pushing to try to squeeze in for a closer look. I felt bad for the girls behind us since we are so tall! Haha.
The show was amazing. I haven't been to a concert in forever!
Naturally we got t-shirts after the concert was over. I heart Britney!

Unfortunately I only got one picture of us the entire night. I goofed and put my camera no the stair case ledge and clumsy me tripped going up to stairs causing the camera to fall off the ledge and break. I so wanted to bring it to take pictures of the concert. I tried taking some with my phone but they didn't turn out nearly as good. Oh well!

Happy 25th Birthday to me!

Josh put together a nice Birthday bbq for my birthday on April 2nd.
It was so much fun and the weather was beautiful. Earlier in the day Josh and I took Joey to our Church's Easter Egg Hunt after mass. Joey was kind of interested in the eggs at first but then promptly decided that he would run past the hundreds of eggs laid out and go into the open muddy field. Needless to say Joey and I both came out a bit muddy. =) We also enjoye a family picnic at the local park. It was just the three of us but we had so much being able to spend some time together outside of the park.

For my birthday Josh surprised me with a trip to Vegas in May. It will be just the two of us and I am so excited! We haven't been away just the two of us since God knows when.

For my birthday I also scored a Kitchen Aid Mixer, new clothes, and lots of glorious giftcards! LOVE IT! Thank you everyone for your kindness and generousity!

Family Pictures April 2009

I decided that we needed some updated family photos since the last one we did was last January and i was 40 pounds heavier. I really didn't enjoy looking at that picture in our house so I did something about it. Josh was patient and nice enough to agree to a quick photoshoot. His mom took the pictures and I think they turned out great!

Also just as before I am huge into coupon shopping. I am totally addicted and I have saved my family hundreds of dollars and have been able to reduce my weekly budget in half and have ended up getting more then ever have before!
