Dooter Scooter

You may remember Scoot Scoot from the Summer of 2009. Unfortunately, it was one of the first things to go when the economy really hit the tank. But thankfully things are starting to turn around and Josh found this new beaut on Craigslist.

To be honest, I wasn't happy at first that this arrived home about a month ago. There was no "wife consult" and I was under the impression that it cost quite a bit. After further inquiry I learned this little bugger was 10 years old, didn't run, and Josh literally got a bargain for this, like it almost felt like stealing...but not really.

After some mild repairing, tons of hours on YouTube learning how to fix the engine, and the replacement of a some seriously dim lights, Josh has a new toy. I am not sure who is more excited about it, Josh or Joey.

*Disclaimer: Before we have any quick to judge, yes that is Joey wearing a bicycle helmet, no, he does not ride on it for outings with Josh. However, he did get to go for a slow, slow ride around the cul-de-sac (in the background) and he loved it. He loved the ride as much as the time he spent "helping" Daddy work on repairing it.
